Part 2: Readiness and installation of charting package.  Getting to know your trading platform.

Part 3: Market hours and best time to trade.

Part 4: Developing a clear view of your trading objective.

Phase 2: Introduction to Day Trading.


Part 1:  What is day trading?

Part 2:  Understanding futures and mini futures.

Part 3:  The market players that move the market.

Part 4:  Charting basics & navigation (saving workspace, trading with multiple workspaces).

Part 5:  Understanding exchanges (NYMEX, CME, etc.), clearinghouse, margin (requirements), datafeed.

Part 6:  Price movement through candlesticks, ticks & points.

Part 7:  Understanding tick & point values for different markets.

Part 8:  A behind the scenes look at price movement.

Part 9:  Basic order execution.

Part 10: Practice assignment.


Phase 3: Learning how to day trade


Part 1:  The basics of how the market moves.

Part 2:  Basic market terminology (hedging, speculating, bulls, bears...).

Part 3:  Technical analysis vs. Fundamental analysis.

Part 4:  Understanding commissions and fees.

Part 5:  Market sectors (energy, currencies, metals...).

Part 6:  Learning how to recognize reversal patterns and trends (buy & sell rallies).

Part 7:  Identifying supply & demand, support & resistance levels.

Part 8:  Trading breakouts, and patterns.

Part 9:  Drawing trendlines and executing simulated trades.

Part 10. Types of order executions (limit order, bracket orders, stop orders).

Part 11. Practice assignment.


Phase 4: Intermediate learning. Developing masterful skills.


Part 1:  Learning to balance your trading schedule.

Part 2:  Practicing new daily habits (meditation, trading journal, daily rituals...).

Part 3:  Price action trading.

Part 4:  Momentum trading (using MACD, RSI, STO, indicators).

Part 5:  Understanding how to trade with moving averages.

Part 6:  Developing set-ups for trading price action and momentum.

Part 7:  Candlestick formations (doji, spinning top, hammer...).

Part 8:  Creating and saving bracket order templates.

Part 9:  Calculating & understanding profits, losses and drawdowns.  Back testing your strategy.
